Intense Servers (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and other applicable South African legislation. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information.

2. Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, and password when you register.

Billing information: payment transactions are processed by PayFast (Pty) Ltd. We receive transaction references and subscription tokens but never your full card details.

Server data: IP addresses, port assignments, resource usage, and server configuration stored as part of service delivery.

Communication data: emails and support messages you send us.

Technical data: browser type, IP address, and access logs collected automatically when you use our website.

3. How we use your information

We use your personal information to provide and manage your hosting services, process payments, communicate about your account, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We process your information on the lawful basis of contract performance (POPIA Section 11(1)(b)) and legitimate interest (Section 11(1)(f)).

4. Information sharing

We share your information only with:

PayFast (Pty) Ltd for payment processing.

Infrastructure providers as necessary for service delivery (server provisioning, email delivery).

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by South African law or court order.

5. Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. After account closure or service termination, we retain records for a reasonable period (typically 12 months) for legal and accounting purposes, after which personal data is deleted or anonymised.

Server data is deleted when a server is permanently removed (30 days after suspension for non-payment, or immediately upon your request after cancellation).

6. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (TLS), secure password hashing, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to access your personal information, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements), object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. 8. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies to ensure proper functionality and, with your consent, to understand how visitors use our site. When you first visit, a consent banner lets you choose which cookie categories to accept.

Essential cookies (always active): These are required for the website to function. They include session cookies for authentication, CSRF protection tokens, and the cookie consent preference itself. These cannot be disabled.

Analytics cookies (optional): If you select "Accept All", we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymised usage data such as pages visited, time on site, and referral sources. GA4 sets cookies including _ga and _ga_* with a retention period of up to 14 months. This data helps us improve the website and understand which games and features are most popular. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google.

Managing your preferences: If you selected "Essential Only", analytics cookies are never loaded. To change your preference, clear your browser cookies for intenseservers.co.za and the consent banner will appear again on your next visit.

Third-party services: Payment processing is handled by PayFast, which may set its own cookies when you are redirected to their payment page. These are governed by PayFast's own privacy policy.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or site notice. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
